Welcome to Silverado Middle School! 

Silverado Middle School was built in 1958 on the beautiful slopes of Coombsville. Our 65-acre campus is surrounded by neighborhoods, vineyards and oak woodlands. 65 years later, Silverado is celebrating its heritage and envisioning the future. We have nearly 800 students in grades 6-8 who come together from across the city of Napa and Berryessa to learn. Silverado is proud of its hardworking families who are the foundation of Napa County's economy. Our student community includes an incredible mix of multigenerational Napa students as well as students with heritage from Mexico, Peru, Turkey, Israel, Pakistan, Nepal, India, Vietnam, Ukraine, and more. Students love learning music, art, theater, gardening, poultry, outdoor learning, sciences, social studies, literacy and math. We have exciting partnerships with professionals for classes like Youth Cinema Project, where students learn all aspects of film-making; LAYLA, Leadership Academy: Youth Leadership in Action, where students learn leadership skills and engage in civic improvement projects; and AVID classes, where students learn college and career skills like writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization and reading.
