Core Academic Program
Each year your student will have 6 courses. 5 of them will be "core" classes:
Language Arts
Math
Science
Social Studies
PE

1 of them will be an elective or academic success course: 

Academic Success Courses:
English language Development (ELD)
Advancement Via Independent Determination (AVID)
Directed Studies

Electives  may include:
6th grade Arts Wheel (art, music, movement rotations each trimester), Art, Band, Choir, Orchestra, Theater, 6th LAYLA (Youth Leadership in Action), 7/8th grade Exploratory, Advanced Art, Yearbook, Leadership, Percussion.
